Nine building permits were issued, total of $144,557.76.
OLD BUSINESS:
401 SAWMILL ROAD:
Tim Guyer states that he went to the house with David Glaze on August 13th. The snake is gone per the residents and David Glaze. The definition of a boarding house and single family dwelling were discussed. There are currently six adults and three children residing at 401 Sawmill Road. Two of the residents were in the audience and stated they are half brothers and they have one sister. There are three couples and the majority of people are related.
Lee Robbins states they can file for a variance or special exception in order to have nine family members. A family is described as a blood relative, marriage or an adoption, consisting of up to five family members.
NEW BUSINESS:
Tim Guyer asked about waiving the fee for the storage shed at the New Whiteland Fire Station.
Laura motioned to waive the fee, Steve seconded the motion. Vote was 5 affirmative.
112 BEL AIR - TWO DRIVEWAYS:
This property was discussed and Lee Robbins states that if they improve it they come under the current zoning ordinance, which states that two driveways are not allowed, and a gravel driveway is to go to the side of the house, not in front of the house. There was more discussion. Resident was not in attendance.
Lee made it clear that if they improve it, they have to bring it into compliance, or file for a variance. They cannot pave one driveway and not the other and they cannot have two road cuts.
The current ordinance applies.
