Hearts and hugs to everyone who played a part in making the 1st Annual Proctor Memorial Park Charity Ride a huge success. First thank you God for a gorgeous day – the weather was perfect! To the Johnson County Eagles – we couldn’t have asked for a better partner on this mission. The Ride was amazing!! There were so many motorcycles, the food was great as was the music – we had a great day! To all who donated money, or food, or prizes, or labor, or equipment or services – thank you from the bottom of my heart. To WFMS, the bands; The Thunder Club and the Ed Jarman Project, the disc jockey Roger VanHorn you all made it such a special day. To Wade & Tim Findley – thank you for holding our auction. To the police escorts – thank you for keeping our riders safe. To Ron Mason, Frank Vaughn, DNR and the Military personnel who made the ceremony at the Firing Range so special – what a bonus that turned out to be. Thank you to Mark Berry for making our dog tags, the Indiana Blood Center for setting up for our community blood drive, all of the Military personnel who set up and manned displays during our event, to the Proctor Park Committee and all of our wonderful volunteers, our Sponsors and the hundreds of motorcycle riders – what a difference you each made to our project. To everyone who played a part is this magical day – thank you – your efforts were not in vain – this event raised $18,720.96 for Proctor Park .
