2010 Proctor Park Grand Prix & Community Celebration

Thanks to everyone who participated in this year’s event!  We had some challenges with the rain and parking but all in all we had a great day!  Special thanks to Whiteland Raceway Park, Whit’s Inn and the Indiana National Guard for partnering with us this year.  The students and their parents who volunteered throughout the day from CPMS National Junior Honor Society were awesome – we couldn’t have done it without you!  COL Barry Richmond’s remarks during the Veteran’s Service were moving and inspiring and the NJHS students presented all attending veterans with a specially created Challenge Coin commemorating Proctor Park and the veteran’s service.  The Colts in Motion, the Mason G Band and BOOMER provided extra entertainment which was greatly appreciated and enjoyed by all who were in attendance.  Thanks to Dan Wheldon and Sarah Fisher for loaning us your show cars and the Indiana National Guard for arranging for the Patriot Chopper and military vehicle display.  Thanks to the support of our sponsors, drivers, vendors and our attendees we were able to raise $7,000.00 to continue the work at Proctor Park.  Pictures from our event which was held June 19, 2010 are available for you to view and download – thanks to photographer Rick Galloway.
