PROCTOR PARK WALK OF FREEDOM

In May 2008, Proctor Memorial Park was officially dedicated. Many improvements have been made since those early days and the number of visitors who have enjoyed this community treasure has exceeded our wildest expectations.

We are still taking brick orders to honor those who have served in our armed forces or our communities. The front memorial walkway has begun to shift and needs to be relaid. Sadly, additional names need to be added to the Hoosier Heroes Wall. An additional $15,000 is needed to complete these two projects. If you as an individual or as a local business would like to donate to this project please send your donation to:

Proctor Memorial Park
401 Mooreland Drive
New Whiteland, IN 46184

All donations are tax deductible. Please help us continue our mission to honor and remember all who have served or are currently serving.

Disconnect Policy Changes

All customers were recently mailed a WATER DISCONNECT NOTICE postcard explaining the recent changes to the disconnect policy listed below.

Important Changes in Disconnect Policy for past due Sewer, Trash and Storm Water Bills

Effective with the December 2012 New Whiteland Utility bills any past due balances MUST be paid by 5:00 p.m. on the 21st to avoid having your water service disconnected.

New Whiteland has an agreement with Indiana American to shut off water service to any New Whiteland customers who are delinquent in paying their sewer, storm water and trash service bills. Starting January 1st we will no longer deliver courtesy reminder door hangers. If the past due amount is not paid by the 21st a disconnect order will be issued to Indiana American. In order to get service restored the full amount (both months) of your bill must be paid along with a $65 IAW disconnect fee and a $25 sewer deposit (1st disconnect). A 2nd disconnect will result in an additional $50 sewer deposit.
